Tight Turnaround Time and Spectacular Results

GVPR launched The Glenmark, Glendale, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel in July 2020 – during the height of the pandemic. The firm was hired three weeks prior to the hotel’s opening, with approval to begin pitching and promoting the hotel only a day prior to the opening. Due to local government mandates, the hotel’s signature restaurant could not offer inside dining and the lobby bar was closed.

Despite the challenging parameters of the project, the GVPR team took an aggressive approach through both traditional media outreach and influencer marketing. GVPR used its impressive rolodex of connections to secure substantial media coverage in publications including The Points Guy, EATER, The Infatuation, Smart Meetings, LODGING, UPROXX, Beverly Hills Press, BizBash, HoopLA, CaliforniaLife HD, Hotel Management and more, within the first six weeks.

GVPR also arranged for over 20 local and regional influencers to stay at The Glenmark and experience its food & beverage outlets. Coverage from these trips resulted in articles highlighting the hotel’s spectacular art and design, exceptional cuisine, cozy rooms, and breathtaking views from the Mila Rooftop bar. In the first month alone, The Glenmark Hotel had a star rating of over 100 and Mila Rooftop Bar became the local hot spot.
