Making Hotel Lulu a family favorite destination
When GVPR was hired to launch Hotel Lulu, which is only a seven minute walk to Disneyland Resort, the team knew how crucial it was to position the property as a family-favorite destination. GVPR helped the hotel create special on-property offerings that provided families with what they needed when visiting Anaheim to enjoy the theme parks. This included Hotel Lulu branded kids backpacks featuring sunscreen, hats, water bottles and snacks; a Grab-n-Go breakfast menu that would help fuel the family as they walked over to the parks in the morning; Celebration packages that helped families celebrate birthdays and special occasions; and a “Pops and Sparkle” amenity filled with delicious treats that guests can enjoy while watching the Disneyland fireworks from their hotel balcony at night. GVPR then invited and secured dozens of ‘mommy influencers’ / digital content creators, who brought their children to experience and promote the hotel and its family-friendly offerings. The results and effects from the campaign were so immediate, that the hotel’s social media numbers and engagement skyrocketed and the hotel occupancy began to spike.
